Configure the Cr-48 Keyboard in Windows

Follow this guide to configure the Cr-48 keyboard to function correctly in Windows.

  1. Install Windows 7 by following the guide here, or Windows 8 by following the guide here.

  2. Download and install AutoHotkey

    • During installation, select the "Unicode (32-bit)" version
  3. Run AutoHotkey

    • The first time AutoHotkey runs, a sample script is created in the Notepad application
    • Erase the contents of the sample script and paste the custom script for the Cr-48 keyboard available here
    • Save the script and exit Notepad
  4. Place a shortcut to the AutoHotkey application in the Startup folder. Instructions for this step are available here

  5. Restart the computer
